DIY - Printing Stencil TShirt Screenprinting

Thursday, January 18, 2007 2:57 pm

What You Need for Printing…

  • T-shirt washed and dried. The problem with a lot of cheap blank t-shirts is that they shrink.
  • Foam Roller. Just buy cheap ones because they don’t last long anyway.
  • Fabric Printing Ink (textile ink). You’ll find it at craft shops. I highly recommend the brand PERMASET
  • Baking Paper. This is to put between the t-shirt and the iron when heat sealing.
  • Cardboard and masking tape for securing the t-shirt.

Put your cardboard inside the t-shirt making sure that the t-shirt is mildly stretched out. Using the masking tape stick the acetate stencil in to place. See image below.

Make Money by Investing in Real-Estate

Wednesday, January 10, 2007 12:54 am

You always hear about people who made their fortunes investing in the stock market, and you also hear about other investors who lost their shirts playing the same game. But you hardly ever hear about real-estate investors who go bankrupt, and that’s because it doesn’t happen often.
That’s right, those individuals who invested wisely in real estate many years ago are living a very comfortable lifestyle. Investing in real estate wisely can garner lots of money, so if you’re just getting started, or have considered investing in real estate, the information that follows is invaluable.

take the risk

No one hears about how much money one can make investing in real estate. That’s probably because it is a little well-kept secret. If everyone knew about it, everyone would be doing it, right?
Wrong. Much like starting your own business, investing in real estate requires entrepreneurial skills and a vision. Which is why not everyone is jumping on the real estate bandwagon.

Not everyone is willing to take the additional risk that real-estate investing entails. And these are the same people or renters that will make you rich. The little secret is that there are hundreds of individuals who choose to procrastinate for every one individual who has a vision and chooses to take the risk with investing in real-estate.

The Truth About Bodybuilding Myths

10:20 pm

You might disagree, but hear me out on this; the vast majority of myths about weight gain are mostly passed down from “gym talk” and so-called experts who know nothing about the body’s workings.

Myths that lead to wasted time, frustration and if are taken blindly as truth, can really set back your progress in the gym. Don’t believe everything you hear when it comes to exercise and weight gain, do the research yourself.

Lets take a look at some of the most common weight gain myths:

How to Celebrate a Greek Christmas

Sunday, December 24, 2006 11:02 am

ChristopsomoIn Greece, members of the Eastern Orthodox Church consider Christmas second only to Easter as the most important holiday of the year.

Instructions
STEP 1: Take the children to see Santa Claus, who can often be found outside shopping areas giving treats to children.

STEP 2: Expect neighborhood children to sing “kalanda” (Christmas carols) on Christmas Eve and offer their good wishes to you. Have dried figs, walnuts, almonds and - most important - coins on hand to offer the youngsters who come to your house.

STEP 3: Prepare a holiday feast for Christmas Eve. Serve traditional foods and wine with baklava for dessert.

I have found this kickass link that lets you track any cell phone you want in the world!!! It is a free service and you can spy on whoever you want. Last night my wife went out for a few hours with her friends, and was horrified when I told her exactly where she went, heh. I wish I would’ve kept this secret for a little while longer :-( Oh well. Check it out and tell me what you think.

Check it out here -www.phonetrace.org

IF YOU ARE UNDER 18, DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! In Fact, Do Not Click. [nsfw]

Choosing an inexpensive gift for her that doesn’t look cheap

9:35 pm

A cheap gift that doesn’t look cheap!
I cannot advocate buying a cheap gift, unless you really cannot afford anything more expensive. No one likes a cheapskate! Still, even if you are on a budget, your gift does not have to look cheap. There are loads of inexpensive handmade or unusual items on the web that, whilst making cheap gifts, are not easy for her to value.

Be sure to avoid the high street or stuff that she is likely to see on the Net. There’s nothing worse for a girl than finding out just how much you’re worth, from the price tag of a gift you spot at a local store. It’s not so bad if it’s reassuringly expensive, but spotting a cheap gift you just received, ends up making you feel equally cheap!

Less cash, more effort
The thing is, with a little effort and imagination, that needn’t happen — it’s more down to laziness than a lack of cash. Your cheap gift needn’t look cheap if you shop around for something unusual and put an extra effort into how you wrap it.

Here’s our checklist of how to make the best of a low gift budget…

Hangover Cures

Friday, December 22, 2006 3:16 pm

A hangover is caused by a combination of the toxic by-product of alcohol metabolism (acetaldehyde), dehydration, and Vitamin A, B (particularly B6) and C depletion caused by the chemical action of alcohol on your system. The symptoms are usually a dry mouth, nausea, fatigue, dizziness and headache and are caused by a combination of these factors.

Apart from the obvious toxic effects, you should realise you’re suffering the effects of a mild overdose of a depressant drug and your nerves are reacting accordingly, and you have also flushed a signifnicant quantity of vitamins and nutrients from your system causing a degree of metabolic shock that your body is struggling to compensate against. This is why hangover symptoms often include disorientation and “the jitters”.
